Where's the weather gone?

Well I left the UK 2 weeks ago for a month in Arkansas, hoping as always to view some severe weather, perhaps even a tornado, and no sooner than my back is turned Britain gets hit by 6 tornadoes and I have to sit here baking in 90 degree heat.
Oh well...still 2 weeks to go some hope springs eternal!
